Splurge Alert: Angel Jackson

A few months ago, I assigned that week's Trend Report to one of my LA writers at JoonBug, and she came up with a surprising find: FRINGE.

After investigating a bit, I found that fringe really is coming back - at least on the west coast - and I couldn't be happier! When I was younger, I always loved the 70s Hippie-inspired styles. I would look through my mom's old photo albums, and envy the purple suede jacket that she was wearing, as well as the peace sign embellished headband that her older brother wore, proud as can be. I loved the loud prints, the headbands, and the fringe. It was perfection.

Now, in a not-so-bold fashion, 70s styles are coming back! One of them is fringe, and if you're thinking it's "far too boho for my style", then please, continue reading. One of my newest discoveries is Angel Jackson, a British designer who loves all things sparkley. She even makes fringe look glam!!

Here are a few of my favorites by Angel Jackson: Lakota Sequin Seric in Black-White ($484) Measures 48 x 42cm. Handles 38 cm. Strap 110cm Mutiara Envelope Clutch in Cream ($263) Measures: 28 x 22cm. Gold chain 75cm. Lucky Sequin Satchel in White ($315) Measures: 24 x 19cm. Gold chain: 105cm. Lucky Sequin Satchel in Black($315) Measures: 24 x 19cm. Gold chain: 105cm. Pow Satchel In Blue ($305) Measures: 24 x 19cm. Gold chain: 105cm.

So, I am completly in love with Angel Jackson's designs! They're a bit pricey, but totally worth it. Be sure to check out Angel's other bags online, and letme know what you think in the comments section!
